HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER

Email is the best way to reach me, as I work another job during the week and am unavailable to take calls. Send me an email via the enquiry form on the contact page with the details of the cake design, flavour and size you would like. I am happy to work with you to customise your design and incorporate any ideas you might have. I will get back to you as soon as possible, however please note that Fridays and Saturdays are particularly busy days. 

HOW MUCH NOTICE DO I NEED TO GIVE FOR A BOOKING

Ideally a few weeks notice would be great but feel free to contact me to check availability regardless of the time frame. If I have availability I will certainly do my best to accommodate your order. If you are booking a very large cake it is best to book further in advance to secure your place so I can ensure I have enough time set aside to complete your order.

PAYMENT

Generally a bank transfer is the preferred method of payment. Once your order is confirmed I will provide account details and request that payment is made in full at least 4 days prior to your pick up date. If bank transfer doesn't suit, just let me know and we can discuss other options.

DELIVERY

Pick up is the preferred option as I'm often busy baking in the kitchen, but if delivery is required let me know and I will do my best to accommodate. Delivery charges are based on the time/distance from my location in Prahran.

PICK UP

Most days I am happy to work around a pick up time that best suits you, but at times I have other commitments (deliveries, etc) and we might need to negotiate a suitable time.
When placing your order, please nominate a pick up time that best suits you. If you would like to change your pick up time please let me know a few days in advance as I have a careful schedule in place to make sure everyone's cakes are ready on time. If you contact on the day to see if you can pick up your cake earlier I will do my best to accommodate, but please note that this may not be possible.

TRANSPORTING YOUR CAKE

I recommend transporting your cake on a flat surface or bringing a friend to carry the cake on their lap. The floor on the front seat is generally the best option with the air conditioning on (particularly crucial during the warmer months). I would also suggest driving very slowly and not braking suddenly!

STORING YOUR CAKE

All cakes with swiss meringue buttercream should be stored in the fridge and taken out 1-2 hours before serving. It is important that the cake is served at room temperature as the buttercream hardens in the fridge and does not taste nearly as good when cold.

ALLERGIES / INTOLERANCES / SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

I have tried to ensure there are options available for everyone (everyone should get to enjoy cake!) but please note that nuts and other allergens are always present in my kitchen for other items so if your allergy is severe I would not recommend taking the chance. 

DO YOU OFFER TASTINGS FOR WEDDING AND OTHER CAKES

Unfortunately I don't have the capacity to offer tastings.
